During the holidays and weekends power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region to work in a reinforced mode - Igor Makovskiy

According to General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, round-the-clock duty of dispatching and technical services, employees of operating and maintenance crews, duty supervisors at substations of branches and managers has been set at all power facilities in the service area of the company. The necessary supply of materials has been formed in warehouses needed for the work.

Also, in order to avoid cases of disconnection of consumers, the most reliable power supply scheme will be maintained in branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region: all kinds of work at the existing equipment of power grid facilities have been suspended, except for restoration works, for which off-road vehicles, tools, materials and means of protection have been made available. In advance, on the eve of the holidays, in order to prevent situations of de-energizing consumers, experts of both power companies checked the technical condition of the equipment and emergency control automation, the presence of an emergency supply of materials, and the availability of backup power supply sources. In addition, the power engineers have taken additional measures to enhance fire safety, have carried out an inspection of the fire condition of industrial and household premises, auxiliary and ancillary buildings and structures, mobile repair shops and crew vehicles. For quick elimination of technological violations, in case of their occurrence, the operation of the power systems of 20 regions of operational responsibility of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region has a developed communication scheme and a procedure of interaction with services of the EMERCOM, territorial divisions of Rostechnadzor, executive authorities and local governments, operating companies of PJSC ROSSETI, other territorial electric grid organizations. The operational readiness of all communications and dispatching process control systems has been checked. If necessary, 2,872 crews consisting of more than 13 thousand people, 4,409 automobile and specialized vehicles, as well as resources of contracting organizations can be involved in the elimination of technological violations in all branches of the power companies. They also have about 1,709 backup sources of power supply with a total installed capacity of about 56.16 MW, which can be used for temporary supply of power to primarily socially important regional facilities.
