In 2018, power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region held more than 450 events within the framework of the third All-Russian festival #VmesteYarche. More than 35,000 Russians from 123 settlements became participants in the events dedicated to respect for energy resources and the environment.
IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region actively support the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Russia aimed at educating the younger generation of respect for energy resources and the environment. Within the framework of the “Useful Holiday” - this popular name was given to the Festival #VmesteYarche in the regions of Russia, the power engineers organize and hold events aimed at creating an energy-efficient lifestyle. In the summer, the power engineers visited country children’s health camps and school camps. In Nizhny Novgorod Gymnasium No. 2, the “Messages of Goodness” campaign was held, in which schoolchildren wrote letters about the importance of respect for nature and transferred them to “unfamiliar friends” in other regions. The “Electropatrol” team conducted a series of lessons on energy saving with tests and experiments for readers of the city and regional libraries in Nizhny Novgorod. In the Vladimir region the power engineers, by tradition, combined sports events and intellectual thematic competitions in the relay “Good energy of #VmesteYarche”, in the organization of which representatives from students’ construction energy crew took part. Lessons of energy saving in the children’s health camp "Salute" and in the children’s health camp named after Sasha Chekalin were held by specialists of the branch “Tulenergo” together with members of the students’ construction crew “Energetik-1”. The Summer Marathon of Electrical Safety and Energy Efficiency “The Library of Electrical Safety” and a lesson on energy saving in the Poninsky orphanage were organized by the branch “Udmurtenergo”. In the summer, in recreation camps near the city of Smolensk, in the format of games and conversations, thematic classes were held for holidaymakers and educators.
With the onset of the school year, the festival’s events moved to squares of cities, shopping centres and educational institutions, attracting an increasing number of regional residents to the festival’s participants. Thematic intellectual tournaments “What? Where? When?” and issuing passports of an energy-efficient citizen were organized in the Vladimir region. The city’s family holiday at the festival “TogetherBrighter” and the youth intellectual games “Eureka” for high school students were held in the Ivanovo region, staff of the branch “Ivenergo” were not only the organizers of the holiday, but also jury members in the intellectual competition. In Kirov the power engineers chose a combination of the theme of the festival with the themes of injury prevention and vocational guidance for young people. Bright holidays with quest elements were held on the square of the city and in the framework of the “Night of Museums”. Mari power engineers organized tours for schoolchildren to the building of the branch office of “Marienergo” with a visit to the training class, the operational dispatching service of the Production Association “YEG” and the Grid Control Centre. As part of the campaign to collect old batteries “Batteries for utilization!”, all employees of the branch “Nizhnovenergo” and residents of Nizhny Novgorod were asked to hand over used batteries, which were later transferred to the project partner, Lyceum No. 38 for further processing. At the citywide celebration #VmesteYarche in Tula, an exposition of the branch “Tulenergo” with samples of energy-saving equipment and technologies was presented on the Boulevard of modern energy-efficient technologies. A large-scale holiday for the whole family and the quest on energy efficiency for preschoolers "Together for knowledge!" were held in the Udmurt Republic. In the Ryazan region, adults were also able to participate in quizzes, checking their level of knowledge in the field of energy conservation during the city festival "Good Deeds Festival". A playground for drawing thematic postcards was organized for children. In addition, residents of Ryazan took over the relay “Messages of Good” from Nizhny Novgorod, passing it to 3rd grade schoolchildren at secondary school No. 4 in Ryazhsk, and helped organize a master class on energy saving for students of professional educational organizations in cooperation with the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and Public Utilities and the centre of environmental projects. City holidays, open doors days and an energy game were held in the Kaluga region. Power engineers from 22 Distribution Zones of Belgorodenergo held Open Doors Days #VmesteYarche events for schoolchildren and students of universities and colleges of the region, tours to power facilities, classes on energy saving and electrical safety, and also organized two youth technical councils for students of Valuisky Industrial Technical School and BSTU named after Shukhov. Power engineers of Bryanskenergo organized 4 route games with energy efficiency stations and conducted 2 tours. In Kursk, on the central street of the city, an exhibition of photographs “Faces of Energy” was held: photos of honoured workers and veterans of Kurskenergo were placed on light posters. In Smolensk, classes on energy saving were conducted in kindergartens "Wishing flower" and "Mishutka". The children took part in the game “House with the mind”, painted thematic drawings, and answered the quiz questions. In Yaroslavl, there was an action to exchange an old incandescent lamp for a new energy-saving one, participants had to post photos of the old light bulb with the festival hashtag in social networks and get a new modern gift. Energy saving lessons, competitions of posters and drawings were held in all regions of the operating responsibility of the energy companies.
