General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy presented to the Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Yevgeny Zinichev proposals for expanding cooperation in emergency response

Today, 17 October 2018, the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief Yevgeny Zinichev held a working meeting with General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

The parties discussed the possibility of increasing the efficiency of the energy companies’ actions with the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the field of eliminating the consequences of technological disruptions in electric grids.

In addition, they talked about the possibility of integrating the system of registration of calls from citizens of IDGC of Centre, IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, related to power supply interruptions, with a similar system of the EMERCOM of Russia.

The meeting also discussed the issue of interaction in terms of the use of warning tools for the territorial structures of the department operating in the regions where the energy companies operate, in order to improve the quality and reliability of informing the public about electricity supply issues.
