First 1,500 hectares of ROWs within the power engineers’ exercises cleared in the Tver region

According to the operational information of the Headquarters of the Exercises on working out the interaction and elimination of interruptions in the operation of the electric grid complex of the Tver region, by 1 October, the power engineers of PJSC "Rosseti" cleared 1,698 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines, which is 21% higher than the established plan.

"The work is carried out with a great deal ahead of schedule," said Alexander Kornilov, Chief of the Headquarters of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. "The staff of the companies works productively with the quality control of the work, using any opportunity to improve their performance and guarantee the fulfillment of the exercises’ tasks set by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti."

Please, be reminded that the large-scale and unprecedented exercises of power engineers from Rosseti Group of Companies started in the Tver region on 22 September with the support of the Government of the region. The exercises involved more than 5,000 employees from 20 branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. Until 22 December of this year, the power engineers will have to clear 6.5 thousand hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines, expand one thousand hectares of ROWs along overhead lines, and also replace 530 km of "bare" wire with self-supporting insulated one (SIW).
