Power engineers quickly eliminate the effects of bad weather in the Tver region

27 September 2018

Crews of power engineers of IDGC of Centre will eliminate the devastating consequences left by the bad weather in the form of squally wind and rain that hit the Tver region on the night of 26-27 September.

At present, all fault locations have been found on the affected lines of 6-10 kV, and work is underway to restore the power grid complex. The main nature of the fault is broken wires caused by falling trees and branches.

To restore the power supply as quickly as possible to consumers in the Tver region the power engineers use reserve circuits, including back-up sources of electric energy.

The situation is at the control of the headquarters of the power grid complex of PJSC Rosseti. The emergency-restoration works are managed by Igor Makovskiy, General Director of IDGC of Centre.

All actions of power engineers are synchronized with the Government of the Tver region and the General Directorate of the Regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The power engineers draw attention of residents of the Tver region to the fact that work in the 0.4 kV network is carried out at the request of consumers. You can report a power failure by calling the direct line of IDGC of Centre at 8-800-50-50-115.
