Power engineers accelerate the pace of restoration of power supply in the Tver region

General Director of IDGC of Centre Igor Makovskiy held an operational meeting of the Company’s Headquarters, dedicated to the restoration of power supply in the Tver region.

And Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo director Manvel Mazhonts reported on the current situation in the region. According to the head, all social facilities that fell into the zone of de-energization are powered from reserve sources of electric energy. The work of a number of 6-10 kV lines, affected by the impact of the bad weather, has already been restored.

During the meeting, Igor Makovskiy also heard detailed reports from chiefs of Distribution Zones that were in the zone of power supply disruption. The General Director demanded that the leaders accelerate the pace of emergency recovery work. "According to the forecasts of technical experts, we will ensure the normal operation of the power grid complex of the Tver region today until 03:00 pm," said Igor Makovskiy.

It should be noted that all emergency and recovery work in the Upper Volga region is conducted in close cooperation with the Government of the Tver region, local authorities and specialists of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Tver region.
