The All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche is gaining momentum and continues to attract the attention of Russian citizens to issues of energy saving and energy efficiency.
For the third year in a row, power engineers of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region have been actively supporting the "Useful Holiday" - the Festival #VmesteYarche got this popular name in the regions of Russia. Within the framework of the festival movement, power engineers organize and conduct activities aimed at the formation of an energy-efficient way of life. During the summer holidays specialists of the energy companies visited children’s health camps in the regions, where the companies operate, and conducted training activities aimed at fostering a caring attitude to energy resources and the environment in the younger generation.
The main events of the Festival #VmesteYarche, according to the tradition, are held in September-October. Within the framework of the Festival the power engineers took part in city holidays in the Yoshkar-Ola, Bryansk, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kirov, Kursk, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Tambov and Tver regions, organizing quizzes, energy efficiency races, quests and children’s drawings contests. At specialized sites of "Energy Efficiency" the specialists of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region acquainted consumers with modern energy-saving technologies, equipment for effective use and saving of energy resources. Days of open doors and tours to energy facilities were held in a number of the regions.
Results of the All-Russian Festival #VmesteYarche will be summed up at the International Forum "Russian Energy Week", established by a resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2016 to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex and realize the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. The forum is the main platform for discussing the main challenges facing the energy sector of the economy and the current problems of the industry development. In 2018, it will be held at the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" in Moscow from 3 to 6 October.
