13 August 2018

The grouping of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region summed up the results of three weeks of exercises in Dagestan. The zone of its responsibility is Karabudakhkentsky district. The energy companies continue to work, seeking to outstrip the calendar plan for a number of key indicators. As of 10 August, the plan for installing overhead power lines was 117% complete, and for the installation of self-supporting insulated wire it was 102% complete. All other works are carried out in full and in accordance with the established deadlines. Since the beginning of the exercises in the settlements of the district the power engineers have replaced 2,187 poles. In the section of overhead lines of 0.4 kV with a total length of 122 kilometres self-supporting insulated wire (SIW) has been installed instead of bare wire - more durable and reliable. 4,079 metering devices were installed, including 332 devices with installation of data collection and transmission devices.

The exercises of the group of companies "Rosseti" in the Republic of Dagestan started on 20 July. 2.2 thousand high-class specialists of the power grid complex from all parts of the country and over 700 specialized vehicles are involved in them, which makes the exercises the most ambitious in the history of the industry. According to the participants’ feedback, in Dagestan they acquire unique experience and new skills both in terms of their professional activities and in improving the effectiveness of interaction with colleagues from other regions.
