Power engineers of IDGC of Centre received gratitude from a children’s camp for emergency recovery work

A letter of gratitude to power engineers was received by the management of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division, from the director of the children’s recreation and education camp "Sosnovy Bor" in Kimrsky district.

On the cable power line belonging to the institution, there was a technological violation, which had to be quickly eliminated. Having received a request for help, specialists of Kimrsky Distribution Zone immediately started restoration work. In the de-energized health camp there were 180 children.

"The power engineers of Kimrsky Distribution Zone professionally performed their work in difficult conditions, during the dark hours they organized emergency recovery work and resupplied power by midnight. Thanks to the real experts of their business, electricity was restored as quickly as possible and the life of the camp continued as usual," Tatyana Khapaeva, the director of the children’s recreation and education camp "Sosnovy Bor", said in the letter of thanks to the branch’s management.

A few days later, the employees of Tverenergo again visited the camp and conducted an electrical safety class for personnel and campers, reminding the attendees of the correct actions in the event of a power outage.
