About seven and a half thousand employees of IDGC of Centre passed vocational training in the first half of the year

IDGC of Centre summed up the results of the professional training of personnel for the first half of 2018. 7,408 employees of the enterprise received new knowledge and skills in the framework of various forms of training. About 94% of the total number of trainees are representatives of production specialties. Among those who received new knowledge there were representatives of administrative and managerial specialties (449), including heads of different levels (197), as well as 22 employees belonging to support staff (22).

25 employees of the Company received higher and secondary vocational education. 1,675 employees passed vocational training, retraining and advanced training in corporate training centres, 2,665 power engineers graduated from various advanced training courses.

To continuously improve the knowledge and skills of employees, the company regularly launches new training projects. So, from 24 April, remote training of employees from the number of the personnel reserve for positions "Head of Distribution Zone", "Deputy Director of the Branch for Sale and Development of Services", "Deputy Director of the Branch - Chief Engineer" and "Deputy Chief Engineer of the Branch" started. The training is designed for 3 quarters and includes remote self-study by participants in the training blocks on the corporate portal of the Company, quarterly testing based on results of the material studied and participation in on-the-job training to improve management skills conducted on the basis of corporate training centres. With positive completion of the full course and no violation of the training plan, each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the training course for the personnel reserve for the relevant target position.

The concept of professional training of IDGC of Centre's staff assumes continuous training of all categories of specialists. The result of this approach is, in particular, the growth in the number of employees with higher education. At present, 12,145 specialists with higher education work in the company. 1,059 employees have two or more diplomas on graduation, 39 are candidates of science, and 2 are doctors of sciences.
