To implement measures of the environmental policy of IDGC of Centre for the past 6 months of 2018, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division spent 1.411 million rubles. Of these, 523.28 thousand rubles were used to receive and treat waste water, 512.80 thousand rubles - to deliver solid utility waste. In addition, Smolenskenergo conducted an event to protect the animal world - for the first half of the year, 1,393 bird protection devices were installed.
The main tasks in the implementation of environmental programs of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division for the first half of this year were: monitoring compliance with environmental legislation in the structural units of the branch; organization of full primary waste management and keeping records of generation and movement of waste; conclusion of contracts for organized car washes; transfer of mercury-containing lamps, worn-out tires and used office equipment to specialized licensed organizations for the purpose of neutralizing and disposing of these wastes; carrying out industrial environmental control (including in the field of waste management).
In total, the branch plans to allocate 5,156 million rubles for environmental measures of the current year.
Ensuring environmental safety of production activities, rationally using natural energy resources, the branch contributes to the improvement of the overall state of environmental safety and compliance in the region.
