IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division in the current year will perform connection to the grid of the second stage of multi-apartment residential buildings being built in the south-western part of Belgorod within the framework of the regional project "New Life", which provides housing for young professionals and their families. The maximum power consumption of four new buildings will be 0.85 MW.
To connect the buildings to the power grid, five package 0.4-10 kV transformer substations with a total capacity of 5.38 MVA will be installed, and about 1.42 kilometres of 10-0.4 kV cable power lines will be constructed. The installation of the power supply scheme will be carried out using the latest domestic equipment and materials. To ensure the required level of reliability, the sections of the housing complex network are planned to be isolated, which will ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers in case of an unplanned power outage.
The project "New Life" is being implemented in the Belgorod region since 2017 on the initiative and with the support of the regional government and involves the construction of apartments for young professionals and their families with the option of purchasing housing in installments. Last year, as part of the construction of the first stage of the project houses Belgorodenergo provided nine new buildings with electric power with an aggregate capacity of 1.4 MW, having constructed over 17 kilometres of cable power lines and installed two new transformer stations with a capacity of 3.26 MVA and a distribution point of 10 kV.
The Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre takes an active part in the implementation of projects aimed at providing residents of the region with affordable and comfortable housing. This year, Belgorodenergo has already connected to the electricity grid four houses built within the framework of regional housing construction programs for orphans and the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing. According to the regional program for stimulating the development of housing construction, the power company equips 1,289 private developers’ plots in individual housing micro-districts with electric grid infrastructure.
