In Moscow, a visiting joint production meeting of heads of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region took place. During the meeting, the results of activities of the two companies in 2017 were summed up and the priority tasks for 2018 were determined. The meeting was chaired by Oleg Isaev, General Director of IDGC of Centre, the managing company of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. The meeting was attended by managers of the main functional areas and directors of 20 regional branches.
The main part of the meeting was the discussion of implementation of production programs, the purpose of which is, first of all, the preparation of the power grid complex for the autumn-winter maximum of loads in 2018-2019, the reduction of failures in electric grids. During the meeting, it was noted that in order to increase the reliability and continuity of power supply to consumers, the tasks to shorten the time for carrying out emergency and restoration work had been successfully accomplished. Optimization of the centralized emergency stock, reserve of back-up sources of power supply was performed. Operational and situational management of the grid complex of the two companies is already integrated and functions as a single whole. A corporate information system based on the combined resource of the common information complex was created.
The results of the execution of the agreement on the transfer of powers of the sole executive body of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region to IDGC of Centre in 2017 were discussed by the Head of the Project Office of IDGC of Centre, Sergey Rumyantsev. In his speech, he noted that the centralization of the management functions of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region made it possible to achieve good production and economic results, including in terms of reducing operating expenses and improving the financial stability and investment case of both companies.
An important issue of the meeting was the discussion of the results of the financial and economic activities of the two companies. Alexander Inozemtsev, Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance, in his speech noted the steady and profitable work of the two companies following the results of 2017. Among the priority tasks for 2018 is the performance by all branches of key performance indicators, reduction of operating costs to the tariff level, and a reduction in the level of the debt burden.
Among other issues, the meeting participants also discussed the results of the implementation of the investment program, the program to reduce electricity losses, the development of value-added services.
At the end of the meeting, the well-coordinated work of all the subdivisions of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and their branches aimed at fulfilling the obligations of the companies for grid connection and implementation of plans for the development of the power grid complex of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation was noted.
