A letter of gratitude was sent in the name of Director General of the company "Rosseti" Pavel Livinsky from the head of the administration of the Tambov region Oleg Ivanov. The representative of the regional leadership thanks the head and staff of the power grid company for ensuring uninterrupted and reliable power supply of the region on the day of the election of the President of Russia.
On 18 March, power engineers of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre (part of Rosseti Group) provided reliable power supply in the Tambov region to 926 voting stations, including 287 polling stations connected to networks of other territorial grid companies. From 16 March, the branch introduced a special mode of operation, involving full mobilization of forces and means. At the same time, the work of the power engineers was complicated by difficult meteorological conditions that prevailed in the region on 17-19 March. A snowstorm with gusts of wind up to 20 m/s, sticking of wet snow on wires and trees created a threat of technological violations and demanded immediate consolidation of efforts of all life support services of the region. Specialists of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre took all necessary measures to ensure the work of the polling stations and electoral commissions with stable power supply.
"The power engineers, performing their official duties, during the entire election campaign, as well as directly on the election day, once again proved their high professionalism, readiness to work around the clock for the benefit of inhabitants of the Tambov region," stresses the head of the regional administration Oleg Ivanov in his letter. "Please, allow me to wish your cohesive and diligent team success in a difficult but very necessary work for people - providing high-quality power supply to consumers."
