This year marks the fifth anniversary of the time when IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region became part of one of the newly created largest electric grid companies in the world – PJSC Rosseti.
For the formation of Rosseti Group of Companies in the domestic power industry, a huge amount of work was done to modernize equipment, increase energy efficiency, optimize production, move to advanced management systems and implement innovative technologies.
The merge of key Russian electric grid companies on such a serious basis gave a powerful impetus to the successful achievement of the set goals for ensuring reliable electricity supply to consumers and energy security of the country. In turn, the entry of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region into Rosseti Group of Companies broadened the horizons of opportunities and allowed the Companies to continue their activities on a qualitatively new level and on a large scale, based on advanced management practices and using the most progressive experience, developments and resources of the entire national electric grid economy.
A striking confirmation of the effectiveness of the adopted strategy was the transition in 2016 of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region to unified management. The correctness of this decision has already been confirmed by the received financial and economic results and technical effects.
IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region today are stable, dynamically developing companies that are driving the development of 20 regions of Russia. They are fully ready to fulfill large-scale and ambitious tasks within the framework developed by the leadership of PJSC Rosseti, the concept of creating a "digital" grid.
