In the Tambov region, a livestock manufacture facility for production of milk on the site of a peasant farm of Vyacheslav Storozhev has been put into operation. The facility in Uvarovsky district for 130 cows with the productivity of more than 500 tons of milk per year was built with the support of the state: out of 12.5 million rubles allocated for these purposes, 7.5 million rubles were given for the development of family livestock farms.
The power supply to the new agricultural enterprise was provided by IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division. The work under the grid connection agreement was carried out in strict accordance with the plan, which allowed the facility to be commissioned within the established time frame.
The Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre makes a significant contribution to the development of the region’s agro-industrial complex. So, in 2017, the energy company completed the connection to the grid of new large enterprises for growing and processing poultry meat, created on the site of OJSC Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant and LLC Tambov Turkey. The work was carried out within the framework of the concession agreement signed by IDGC of Centre and the Tambov Region Administration, which became the first public-private partnership project in the Russian electric grid complex.
Also in the past year the branch connected to its grid a meat distribution centre of one of Russia’s largest retail chains Auchan Russia, which produces semi-finished products for Auchan Retail Russia stores in different regions of the country. The mentioned projects are of great importance for the economic development of the Tambov region, and they make a significant contribution to the implementation of the state policy of import substitution and the program of development of the domestic agro-industrial complex.
