A letter of gratitude from the administration of the city of Kursk was sent to General Director of IDGC of Centre, Oleg Isaev. The authorities of the regional centre express their gratitude to the head of the company for supporting amateur artistic creativity and contributing to the development of culture in the city.
Employees of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre not only successfully cope with production tasks, provide quality services to consumers, contribute to the development of the region, but also take an active part in the social and cultural life of the Kursk region and, in particular, its capital.
Thus, the creative team of Kurskenergo regularly participates in the city festival of creativity of enterprises, organizations and institutions of Kursk "Step to Success". Power engineers have repeatedly become its laureates and award winners.
Foe seventeen years in a row Kurskenergo has held a review-contest of amateur art among employees of the enterprise, 12 times on the site of Kurskenergo there has been a children’s contest of amateur creativity "Bright Rays". For the most gifted children, the competition becomes a steppingstone for entering the big stage. Its winners perform on the City Day, at regional and international festivals.
23 - 24 November Kursk became the cultural capital of the Black Earth Region. In the concert hall "Nightingale" of the multifunctional centre "MegaGRINN" the final stage of the fourth annual review-contest of amateur art creativity of IDGC of Centre was held. It was attended by about 200 employees of the company’s branches - winners of regional competitive stages - and a team of a branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. The professionalism of the participants was appreciated not only by the jury, but also by representatives of the city government and the cultural community.
"It is encouraging to note that the power engineers, who are professionals in their field, also find time for creativity. They are worthy to perform at the best venues in the country," stresses Lyubov Barlamova, deputy head of the culture department of the city of Kursk.
