Branches of IDGC of Centre (operating in 11 regions of the Central Federal District) on 1 September congratulated children of employees who went to the first class on the Day of Knowledge. Gifts on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year were also received by pupils of educational institutions, which the power engineers patron.
The branch "Orelenergo" in honour of the beginning of the school year organized for its first-graders a holiday in the entertainment complex "Grinn". 57 children took part in it. They had a rich entertaining program: a bowling tournament, attractions, slot machines and a fascinating film. And then - games and contests with prizes and sweet treats.
The first-graders were also congratulated in other branches of IDGC of Centre, and their parents received financial assistance. It is worth noting that the support of employees who have children in the family and who are enrolled in primary classes is provided for by the collective agreement of the company. In particular, on 1 September they are given a day off.
Employees of the branch "Bryanskenergo" on the Day of Knowledge visited the sponsored Mglinsky special correctional boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care. The power engineers took part in the solemn line-up, where they congratulated pupils of the institution on the beginning of the school year and presented them with gifts. This year about 30 children will study at the boarding school. The power engineers have been patronizing it for more than twenty years. As far as possible, they try to help its pupils with household items and school supplies, give gifts for holidays, conduct electrical safety lessons.
The power engineers of the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre more than 10 years have been patrons of the Znamensky boarding school where about 120 children from disadvantaged families and families of social risk from different parts of the Orel region study. On 1 September, they visited them at a party and presented gifts: kits for quilling, beading, poker painting and molding. Next week, the pupils of the boarding school, at the invitation of their patrons, will visit Orel at the energy saving festival #TogetherBrighter. Employees of other branches of the company congratulated their sponsored pupils as well.
