In the Mogilev region, a joint emergency response training was launched by the state company "Belenergo" and the company "Rosseti"

29 August 2017, in the Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus a joint emergency response training of the state company "Belenergo" and the company "Rosseti" was launched. This is the third similar training of power engineers of Russia and Belarus, in which personnel of IDGC of Centre take part.

The theme of the interstate training this year was the liquidation of mass faults in the distribution grids of RUE "Mogilevenergo" in the territory of Mstislavsky district of the Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus caused by exposure to hazardous meteorological phenomena (squally wind with gusts up to 25 m/s and more, rainfall, thunderstorms), which led to an interruption of energy supply to consumers.

The goal of the training was the organization of interaction between Belenergo and Rosseti in carrying out emergency recovery operations and mutual assistance in the event of the liquidation of massive outages of power grid facilities of distribution networks of power supply organizations of Belenergo.

Under the conditions of the training at the first stage, there is an emergency situation in Mstislavsky Distribution Zone, due to the simultaneous shutdown of 10% of the transformer substations from the total number in the district. In the conditions of the emergence of massive technological disruptions in the operation of the power grid complex caused by natural phenomena, crisis management centre are created and decisions are made on the need to attract additional repair personnel for the elimination of violations in electrical networks, including the company "Rosseti" (Smolensk branch of the subsidiary "IDGC of Centre").

At the second stage, organizational and technical measures to eliminate the emergency situation in Mstislavsky Distribution Zone begin: location and isolation of damaged sections of 10 kV overhead lines, repair of faulty 0.4 kV lines, issuance of work permits, preparation of technological task cards, electrical installation schemes, verification of operability and fuel availability of reserve power supply sources.

The third stage is scheduled for 30 August. In the course of it, the power engineers of the two states will eliminate mass damage in the distribution network of Mstislavsky Distribution Zone with the involvement of additional forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and municipal services of Mstislavsky district. The final fourth stage will be devoted to summarizing the training and evaluation of teamwork.

The training will last three days. The results will be announced on 31 August.
