Hotline of power engineering specialists:
208 students of energy specialties of specialized higher and secondary special educational institutions worked this summer at facilities of IDGC of Centre.
This year, IDGC of Centre created 15 students’ construction crews. The students’ construction crews enrolled students of the third or fourth courses of specialized specialties of such universities and colleges of the country as: Branch of NRU MPEI in Smolensk, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, Lipetsk State Technical University, Orel State Agrarian University named after N.V. Parakhin, etc. Many students have taken part in the work of students’ construction crews at the Company’s facilities for several years.
In the branches of the energy company, the future specialists worked for a month and a half. During the labour watch, the students were able to obtain skills in the processing of working and design documentation, installation and repair of power line poles, taking readings of electricity meters, cable laying and insulation, installation of power equipment and improvement of power facilities. In addition to working days, the students participated in sports days, friendly matches in football and mini-football. Excursions to the Company’s facilities, visits to places of military glory, museums of the branches, joint events in sponsored children’s homes were organized for them. The students participated in events in support of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche, actively joined the work on the promotion of electrical safety.
In parallel with the labour shift the students were preparing to participate in the contest for the best student’s crew of the power grid complex, in which, in addition to production indicators, creative abilities will be assessed.
IDGC of Centre continues to actively cooperate with universities and colleges. Energy specialists are ready to train the younger generation, because they are interested in young specialists coming to work for the company.
