Since 1 August, the collection of signatures in support of the personal Declaration on the careful attitude to energy resources and personal contribution to the development of the Russian economy has begun on the website of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #VmesteYarche at www.вместеярче.рф. This campaign was also held in 2016, collecting about 60 thousand votes of the residents of the country. In 2017 the text of the document was adjusted, new accents were added, taking into account the Year of Ecology in Russia and the international theme.
The declaration says the need for careful treatment of energy resources, nature, development of modern energy-efficient technologies that contribute to improving the competitiveness of the country’s economy. Any Russian citizen who shares the position stated in the Declaration can support it by clicking on the button "I will try to save energy at home and at work, so that our country is strong and competitive!" under the full text of the document. Additionally, on the website, a participant can choose several options for energy saving measures, which he personally will try to do at home or at work.
By signing the Declaration on the website of the festival, a participant can additionally make a repost of this action on his or her pages in social networks and invite friends to join.
