Power engineers of IDGC of Centre fully completed the restoration of power supply in the districts of the Kostroma region, affected by the thunderstorm front

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division completely eliminated the consequences of the thunderstorm front. The supply of electricity to consumers in all districts of the Kostroma region has been restored. Please, be reminded that the thunderstorm front, which passed over Central Russia, caused power supply interruptions in the Kostroma region. Thunderstorms, heavy rains and squally winds led to the de-energization of a number of settlements in the eastern districts of the region.

Specialists of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division promptly proceeded to eliminate technological violations. The first responding and restoration work involved 42 crews, consisting of 168 people and 44 specialized vehicles. Currently, active restoration work is over, all consumers are fed. The energy specialists are working on individual calls.

Kostromaenergo continues to run a special operating mode. The operational situation is under constant control. The crisis management centre for the elimination of technological violations is in cooperation with the territorial units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the executive authorities in real time.
