Kostroma power engineers of IDGC of Centre eliminate the consequences of bad weather

The thunderstorm front, which took place on 30 July in the evening over Central Russia, caused power failures in a number of regions. The Kostroma region suffered fr om the consequences of bad weather: thunderstorms, heavy rains and squally winds de-energized a number of settlements in parts of some districts of the Kostroma region. Employees of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division promptly proceeded to eliminate technological violations. In districts, wh ere disconnections were of a local nature, they were eliminated during the night. Currently, active restoration work is continuing in the settlements of Neisky, Manturovsky, Chukhlomsky and Mezhevsky districts.

Restoration of power supply is being carried out by 27 crews with involvement of 29 vehicles. The social facilities that appeared in the shutdown zone are energized in the first place, including using temporary schemes.

Kostromaenergo runs a special operating mode. The operational situation is under constant control. The crisis management centre for the elimination of technological violations is in cooperation with the territorial units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the executive authorities in real time.
