Voronezhenergo’s specialists are ready to work in conditions of bad weather

According to the Hydrometcentre of Russia, in the near future in some regions of Central Russia, weather conditions are forecast to deteriorate: winds increase to 23 m/s, heavy rains, thunderstorms, occasional hails.

In particular, bad weather will affect the Voronezh region within the service area of ​​IDGC of Centre. At the moment, IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division has introduced a high alert mode, the company’s specialists are working in the mode of ultimate mobilization and are ready to eliminate consequences of possible technological violations. In the service area of Voronezhenergo special control over the operation of power facilities has been established. An information exchange has been organized with the territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities. Operational and repair personnel have been mobilized.

All crews are equipped with necessary tools, adaptations, overalls, provided with all-terrain specialized vehicles, prepared for round-the-clock operation in any conditions. At the round-the-clock duty there are 42 first responding mobile crews (84) and 8 mobile crews (48 people and 16 specialized vehicles). In addition to them, 170 more crews of Voronezhenergo consisting of more than 900 people and more than 300 specialized vehicles can be promptly brought to liquidation of technological violations, if necessary.

Also at the disposal of power engineers there are reserve sources of power supply, which, if necessary, can be used for temporary power supply, first of all - socially significant facilities of the regions.
