Specialists of IDGC of Centre are ready to provide stable electricity supply to consumers in anomalous heat

IDGC of Centre is preparing to work in conditions of abnormally hot and dry weather. According to the weather forecasters, on 27-28 July, in a number of regions of the company’s service area (Voronezh, Belgorod, Tambov regions), the maximum air temperature can reach 36-39°C, which is significantly higher than the climatic norm. In the Voronezh region in places there is emergency fire danger, says the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia. In this connection, risks of forest and man-made fires, as well as emergencies at power facilities, are increasing.

The energy company is taking all necessary measures to ensure reliable operation of the power grid complex of the regions. Effective interaction with the regional departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and executive authorities has been established.

Unscheduled briefings on work in conditions of an elevated temperature background of the environment were held with operational personnel of the branches "Voronezhenergo", "Belgorodenergo", "Tambovenergo". Control over compliance with the fire regulations at power facilities has been strengthened, checks and inspections of equipment are regularly performed.

In case of need, 478 crews consisting of 2,715 people, including 26 crews of increased mobility, and 1,098 automobile and special vehicles can be involved in the branches "Voronezhenergo", "Belgorodenergo", "Tambovenergo", if necessary. There are also reserve power supply sources at the disposal of the branches, which can be used for temporary supply of electricity to consumers.
