24 July 2017

Victoria Nikiforova, Deputy General Director for Work with Public Authorities and Anti-Corruption Activities of IDGC of Centre, received a letter from Elena Dybova, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (RF CCI). A representative of the management of the All-Russian association of entrepreneurs announces the results of the review of the submitted by the grid company Declaration on compliance with the Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business.

As Vice-President of the RF CCI emphasizes, the organization supports the anti-corruption course of IDGC of Centre, recalling at the same time the need to continue comprehensive work on the formation of a culture of "zero tolerance of corruption".

The Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business (hereinafter the Charter) was signed on 20 September 2012 by the four largest business associations of Russia: the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Public Organization for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses "OPORA RUSSIA", the All-Russian Public Organization "Business Russia" at the XI Investment Forum in Sochi with the participation of Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The purpose of the document is to actively promote the voluntary implementation by Russian companies of special anti-corruption programs that provide for internal control procedures, refusal of preferences, procurement on the basis of open tenders, financial control, training and work with personnel, assistance to law enforcement agencies and other measures. Organizations on its roster regularly submit declarations on the implementation of the provisions of the Charter.

In September 2014, PJSC "Rosseti" joined the Charter. The initiator of this decision was Victoria Nikiforova, who, being in 2013-2016 Director of the Corporate and Anti-Corruption Compliance Department of the Group of Companies, organized and conducted work to improve and develop anti-corruption policies in PJSC "Rosseti" and its subsidiaries and dependent companies. Within the framework of the authoritative platform of the organizations participating in the Charter, "Rosseti" received additional opportunities to participate in joint initiatives to prevent and combat corruption.

IDGC of Centre, also initiated by Victoria Nikiforova, joined the Charter in May 2015. Thus, the company publicly confirmed its readiness to implement measures to prevent and counteract corruption, create conditions for public condemnation and rejection of corruption manifestations when interacting with public authorities and in corporate relations.

"As part of the implementation of the road map of the Russian Business Anti-Corruption Charter, IDGC of Centre has confirmed its compliance with the highest international standards in the field of anti-corruption activities, its readiness and ability to follow the National Strategy and the National Anti-Corruption Plan and implement the Anti-Corruption Policy of PJSC "Rosseti" and subsidiaries and affiliates of PJSC "Rosseti". The company fruitfully and constructively interacts with state authorities and law enforcement agencies, with the business community, with research organizations, including in the preparation of proposals for amending the existing anti-corruption legislation, sharing experience in implementing its own developments in this field," stresses Victoria Nikiforova, Deputy General Director for Work with Public Authorities and Anti-corruption Activities of IDGC of Centre.
