Heads of security units of all branches of the company took part in the event. The meeting was held under the supervision of Vladimir Ozhkalo, Deputy General Director for Security of IDGC of Centre.
The event was devoted to summarizing the activities of the security units in the first half of 2017 and the forthcoming tasks for the year.
Vladimir Ozhkalo noted that the main task of the security services of IDGC of Centre is now not only the protection of high-risk facilities, but also the prevention of economic crimes that cause damage to the Company.
At the meeting, participants analyzed quantitative and qualitative performance indicators and discussed in detail a number of topical problem issues in the area of economic, information, and integrated security. The main emphasis was placed on the interaction of the security unit with the law enforcement agencies in identifying facts of non-metered and non-contractual electricity consumption by the Mobile Inspection Group. A representative of the FSB who attended the meeting praised the work of the security unit of the company, and also expressed the hope for continued fruitful cooperation.
The meeting’s participants shared their experience in identifying measurement devices of operating modes (metering devices) that are not provided for by the manufacturer, allowing to distort readings of consumed electricity, detecting abuses by managers of Distribution Zones when carrying out work under grid connection agreements for the benefit of the contractor, and processing of materials on the grounds of Art. 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and examined the most successful practical developments in their solution.
All participants of the meeting noted the high importance of such events, which allow participants to share their positive experiences, discuss topical issues and outline plans to improve the efficiency of all the branches and the Company. In the opinion of the participants, the exchange of opinions and experience, but first of all, the development of targets aimed at the effective solution of tasks to ensure integrated security of power grid facilities of IDGC of Centre, were the main result of the meeting.
