Members of the students’ construction crew of IDGC of Centre took part in the organization of a route game on the basics of safety for schoolchildren of the Kostroma region

Specialists of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division jointly with representatives of the regional offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Federal National Guard Troops Service conducted a route game "Safe Planet of Childhood" for participants of the sports shift of the children’s health camp "Children of Berendeyevka". All the campers of the shift took part in it – a total of about 70 children.

The safety route consisted of six stations: "Fire Safety", "Safety on the Water", "Electrical Safety", "Safety Alphabet", "Survival School" and "Fire Crew". At each of them, the participants of the game were able to demonstrate their knowledge of the topic and get a lot of new and useful information.

At the station "Electrical Safety" the children were met by members of the students’ construction crew "Energy44" of Kostromaenergo. The students told them what danger there is in the electric current, what safety measures should be observed, using electrical devices, what to do in this or that emergency situation. Particular attention was paid to the rules of conduct during a thunderstorm. In addition, with the help of the "Gosha" simulator, the students demonstrated the rules for providing first aid to the victim with electric shock. Visiting the "power" station, according to the participants of the game, was very interesting and useful for them.

Work on the prevention of children’s electric injuries is carried out by Kostromaenergo’s employees regularly. Annually they spend classes and route games on the topic of electrical safety in schools and camps for children’s recreation. This year the energy company plans to hold about 200 such events.
