IDGC of Centre has completed the implementation of the project to expand the functionality, upgrade and transfer of the automated managerial document flow system to a new version of the EMC Documentum platform (currently OpenText Documentum) version 7.2.
The project to modernize the automated managerial document flow system of IDGC of Centre is implemented to achieve full compatibility with the software versions supported by the Documentum copyright holder OpenText, to improve the fault tolerance, performance and reliability of the system. The contractor of the project is LLC "ID - Management Technologies".
The expansion of the automated managerial document flow system functionality has made it possible to improve the efficiency of document management processes in the company, to shorten the time and effort in processing and retrieving documents, to improve the efficiency of execution of assignments and documents, and to strengthen control over the performance discipline in executing assignments. In addition, the integration of reference information of SAP MDM and SAP HCM with the automated managerial document flow system in terms of reference books on external organizations, individuals, and organizational and staff structure has been provided.
"Working with documents in IDGC of Centre traditionally occupies a significant part of the time of several thousand users, and the implemented project makes such work more efficient," stressed Evgeny Simonov, the head of the Department of Corporate and Technological Automated Management Systems at IDGC of Centre.
Also within the framework of the project, the subsystem of the electronic archives of the automated managerial document flow system has been developed, which is intended to optimize the management of archival documents.
