Employees of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre together with professors of Kostroma State University wrote a textbook for students

Specialists IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division jointly with professors of the Department of Automation and Microprocessor Technology (AMT) of Kostroma State University (KSU) issued a workshop "Systems for collecting, transmitting and displaying information in distribution companies".

The textbook is intended for acquaintance with modern automated control systems used at power grid facilities. It includes practical exercises, drills, laboratory work, as well as review material. Each of the laboratory work visually and in detail describes all functional levels of control, from the transformer substation to the system of processing, archiving and displaying data in the grid control centre. The joint work of power engineers and professors will be used in the process of training by students of the Institute of Automated Systems and Technologies of KSU.

Kostromaenergo has been cooperating with KSU for many years. On the site of the university, the laboratory of automated control systems in the power grid complex (ACS PGC) is open and successfully operates. Students of the university annually defend qualifying works on the topic of the electric power industry. And the leading engineer of the department of operation of automated dispatch management systems of Kostromaenergo, associate professor of the AMT department of KSU, Andrey Mozokhin is the deputy chairman of the state examination committee for defence of final works.
