Specialists of Orelenergo during the day restored the stable power supply to consumers in the region through the main grid

Specialists of IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division have restored power supply to the majority of consumers in the service area of ​​the enterprise. Power lines of 110, 35 and 10 kV are operating stably. The liquidation of technological violations on separate sections of 6-10 kV lines and individual customer requests continues.

As of 7:00 pm, the energy supply of Verkhovsky, Kromsky and Maloarkhangelsky districts was restored in full. The elimination of consequences of the thunderstorm front in Novodeverenkovsky district is coming to completion. Work continues in Pokrovsky and Orlovsky districts, where as a result of a thunderstorm and squally wind, the most serious and large-scale damage to power transmission lines and other power equipment occurred. All socially significant facilities are powered by temporary circuits or by using backup power sources (diesel generators).

Orelenergo continues to operate a special operating mode, which assumes an uninterrupted 24-hour emergency recovery process. Forces of 28 crews and 33 vehicles, including first responding crews from unaffected districts of the Orel region, are eliminating the consequences of the disaster.

The power engineers control the situation and are ready to react quickly to possible violations of the power grid complex operation.
