Specialists of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region are ready to work in conditions of bad weather

According to the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia, in the near future in some regions of Central Russia, weather conditions are forecast to deteriorate: wind increase to 23 m/s, rain showers, thunderstorms, isolated hail.

In particular, bad weather will affect the Bryansk, Smolensk, Tver, Orel, Kursk regions located in the service area of IDGC of Centre, as well as the Kaluga, Tula, Vladimir and Ryazan regions where IDGC of Centre and Volga Region operates. At the moment, both companies are working in the mode of ultimate mobilization and are ready to eliminate consequences of possible technological violations.

In the regions there is a special control over the operation of power facilities. An information exchange has been organized with the territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities. Operational and repair personnel have been mobilized. All crews are equipped with necessary tools, adaptations, overalls, provided with off-road specialized vehicles, are prepared for round-the-clock operation in any conditions.

If necessary, 1,648 crews consisting of 8,380 people, including 90 crews of increased mobility, and 3,201 automobile and specialized vehicles can be attracted in all branches of IDGC of Centre to eliminate technological violations. The branches of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region in the elimination of emergency situations are ready to use 1,169 crews consisting of 5,768 people, including 94 crews of increased mobility, and 1,947 vehicles.

Also at the disposal of the branches of both companies there are reserve power supply sources, which, if necessary, can be used for temporary power supply, primarily to socially important facilities of the regions.
