IDGC of Centre is preparing for the opening of the fourth all-Russian labour season for students’ energy crews of the Rosseti Group of Companies. This summer, 208 students of higher and secondary special educational institutions will work at the company’s facilities comprising 15 crews. The guys will work with the documentation, take part in inspections and repairs of electrical equipment, check and take readings of meters, clean up felling residues while clearing ROWs and other work.
In many regions, their place of work will be large and significant energy facilities. So, part of the members of the students’ crew "Energy 44" of the "Kostromaenergo" branch, which included third-year students of the Faculty of Automation and Electrification of Agriculture of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, will work at the 35/110kV substation "Severnaya" in Kostroma, supplying electricity to residential micro-districts over the Kostroma River. In the "Lipetskenergo" branch, the work sites of the construction workers will include, in particular, facilities of Lipetsky Distribution Zone, providing electricity for more than 50,000 people, as well as hospitals, kindergartens, schools, leisure facilities, and Zadonsky Distribution Zone, which supplies such socially important facilities as the district hospital, the ice palace, as well as the residential sector, where 35 thousand people live.
As in past years, the energy company has planned useful leisure time for the members of the construction crews and an extensive cultural program. So, for construction workers of Kostromaenergo there will be a team building training held, sports competitions organized, in which they measure forces in various disciplines with employees of the enterprise. In addition, the students will participate in organizing and conducting route games on electrical safety, which Kostromaenergo’s specialists conduct in summer health camps.
In Orelenergo, as well as last year, contests for posters, stories and creative performances will be organized for members of the crews. They will take part in the gathering of young specialists of the branch, as well as visit the inter-branch hockey tournament "Kursk Bulge", in which power engineers from Orel, Kursk and Belgorod will take part. In addition to participation in sports competitions and various amateur art contest, Lipetskenergo’s construction workers will also have tours in key subdivisions of the branch and the regional energy museum.
