IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division was among winners of the contest "The Best Collective Agreement of the Year", organized by the Office of Labour and Employment of the Orel region among enterprises and organizations of the region. Orelenergo became the first in the category "Extrabudgetary organizations with more than 300 employees". The solemn awarding of the winners took place in the Federation of Trade Unions of the Orel region.
In Orelenergo, as in all other branches of IDGC of Centre, there is the single Collective Agreement regulating the issues of social and labour relations, providing additional benefits and guarantees to employees of the enterprise.
Much attention is paid in the document to improving the level of staff training. In 2016, 592 employees of Orelenergo received training and advanced training, which is more than 32% of the company’s payroll. The branch provides employees with the opportunity to improve their professional level, getting education in the leading educational institutions of the Orel region. In the framework of cooperation agreements with Orel State Agrarian University and Orel State University named after Turgenev power engineers raise their qualifications in specialized departments.
A significant role in the collective agreement is assigned to the provision of social support measures for personnel. Orelenergo compensates expenses for summer rest for children of employees, sanatorium treatment for employees and their families, and voluntary medical insurance. As part of the collective agreement, the branch provides assistance to energy veterans, pensioners, young specialists, and workers in a difficult life situation.
