To date, the total debt of Lipetsk Energy Sales Company (OJSC LESK) to IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division exceeded 1 billion 600 million rubles. This amount is equal to millions of kilowatt-hours, which the supplier of last resort in the Lipetsk region, when delivering electricity to consumers’ homes, did not take into account in calculations with the grid company.
Only in 2016, the Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre won 14 cases on recovery of debts from OJSC "LESK". The grid company received 617.6 million rubles of the principal debt and 28.2 million rubles of interest for the use of funds of the grid company.
In 2017, Lipetsk power engineers won 7 cases on recovery of overdue debts from OJSC "LESK". The grid company received 53.4 million rubles. Similar work is continuing at the present time.
Practice shows that the non-recognition by OJSC "LESK" of its debt to the grid company is untrue, as well as the allegations that Lipetskenergo is trying to force the supplier of last resort to add enormous amounts of electricity to individuals and legal entities.
Please, be reminded that IDGC of Centre, whose branch is "Lipetskenergo", is a grid company, the main activity of which is the delivery of electricity to consumers in its service area. Fulfilling its main task - ensuring reliable power supply to the Lipetsk region, Lipetskenergo’s power engineers operate and maintain around the clock the power grid complex (power lines, electrical substations, etc.), not related to the final figures in bills of consumers. OJSC "LESK" is the electricity supplier of last resort in the Lipetsk region, which purchases electricity from generating companies and grid companies with subsequent resale to residents and organizations of the region. For its intermediary services OJSC "LESK" takes from consumers the so-called sales mark-up, which for today for residents of the Lipetsk region is 30 kopecks with 1 kWh.
IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division has never intended and does not intend to accrue any funds to organizations and residents of the Lipetsk region. The task is to make LESK, as an economic entity, fully fulfill its obligations to us," commented on the situation Deputy General Director - branch director Alexander Glebov.
