Belgorod branch of IDGC of Centre - again on the Alley of Labour Glory of the region

IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division was brought for the second time in a row to the regional Alley of Labour Glory. This year, as the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition "Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency".

According to the results of 2016, 34 labour collectives of various branches of the economy and social sphere and 32 production leaders were brought to the regional honour board. The winners were awarded on 1 May at a rally of trade unions of the Belgorod region, which gathered more than 5 thousand participants.

Evgeny Savchenko, Governor of the Belgorod Region, and Nikolay Shatalov, Chairman of the regional public organization "Belgorod Regional Association of Trade Union Organizations", presented the certificate to Sergey Demidov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division director, and Anatoly Androsovich, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization. Anatoly Androsovich is brought to the regional honour board and personally for the victory in the regional contest of the association of trade union organizations "The best primary trade union organization of the year and its leader" following the results of work in 2016. In addition, the award was given to a senior master of the eastern section of the substation service of Belgorodenergo Sergey Shabelnikov.

"Last year, the volume of industrial production grew by almost 5%, agricultural output by more than 6. Regular work to attract investment in the region allowed the region to take the second place in the national rating of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation," Governor said at the rally.

To a large extent, Belgorodenergo is helping to increase the investment attractiveness of the region. The branch provides thousands of consumers with stable and high-quality power supply. In 2016, more than 4.22 billion rubles (including VAT) were allocated to increase the reliability and development of the power grid complex. 171 MVA of new capacities were commissioned, 1,519 km of power lines were constructed and reconstructed, it was made possible to connect more than 2,800 sites of housing estates of individual construction to grids. 9.5 thousand contracts for connection to grids were implemented. Electric power is supplied to dozens of socially significant facilities and import substitution enterprises.

Today, the branch employs over 4 thousand people. The company together with the trade union organization provides employees with decent and safe working conditions and a wide range of social support measures. In 2016, Belgorodenergo received its "Certificate of trust to the employer", which indicates that the enterprise entered the register of employers that guarantee the provision of safe working conditions and full respect for workers’ rights.
