IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division has started to implement a grid connection project of a large agricultural facility - an elevator of JSC "Orel Nobel-Agro", the construction of which is being carried out in Novosilsky district of the Orel region. The connected capacity of the elevator will be 1.4 MW.
To supply electricity to this facility, Orelenergo will design and construct a 10 kV cable-conductor within the framework of the grid connection agreement. At present, the energy company is carrying out a set of preparatory measures for the organization of work on supplying the power. According to the terms of the agreement, they will be fulfilled within two years.
JSC "Orel Nobel-Agro" is a large agro-industrial holding that implements a number of investment projects in the Orel region. The new elevator for 50 thousand tons per year will be used for processing, storage and transshipment of grain crops.
IDGC of Centre actively promotes the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Orel region. So, in 2016 the Orel branch of the company ensured the delivery of capacity to facilities of such important enterprises of the agro-industrial complex as LLC "Cherkizovo-Plant-Growing", part of the Cherkizovo group of companies engaged in growing and storing grain, and one of the largest Russian genetics producers for pigs, LLC "Znamensky NSGC".
