Belgorodenergo’s employee became the best health and safety inspector at IDGC of Centre

An electrician of Chernyansky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division Yury Kalinin became the winner of the review competition for the title "Best Health and Safety Inspector", held among primary trade union organizations of IDGC of Centre’s branches. Earlier, he took the first place in a similar competition among structural units of the Belgorod branch of the company. The award to Yury Kalinin was presented today at the Safety Day by the chairman of the trade union organization of Belgorodenergo Anatoly Androsovich.

The review competition for the title "Best Health and Safety Inspector" is held at IDGC of Centre annually in accordance with the requirements of the collective agreement. Its main goal is to increase the culture of production and the effectiveness of the labor protection system at the Company’s enterprises.

In the current year, according to the overall results of the competition, the leader of the competition was the electrician of Chernyansky Distribution Zone of the branch of Belgorodenergo Yury Kalinin, who scored a maximum of 596 points. The second place was taken by an employee of Bryanskenergo Dmitry Filinkov (444 points), and the third – an electrician of Tambovenergo Evgeny Denisov (344 points).

Viktor Ablezgov, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of IDGC of Centre, notes: "Effective activities of inspectors guarantee employees the representation of their interests in the consideration of labour disputes, establish a constructive dialogue between the employee and employer on safety issues, and contribute to the creation of safe working conditions in the company’s branches."
