On the eve of public holidays 23-26 February IDGC of Centre has implemented a set of measures aimed at ensuring reliable power supply to consumers in all regions of the company’s service area (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).
IDGC of Centre’s specialists have checked the technical condition of equipment and emergency control, emergency reserve, availability of backup power supply sources. All grid equipment has been brought to the most reliable circuitry. Special control is set for the operation of electric equipment of substations and grids engaged in power supply of socially significant facilities and critical infrastructure. Additional measures have been taken to enhance fire safety measures, facility security and counter-terrorism measures. Planned repairs have been stopped for the holidays.
IDGC of Centre’s crisis management centre has worked out interaction with territorial subdivisions of Rostekhnadzor, EMERCOM departments, executive authorities, operating companies of PJSC "Rosseti" and other territorial power grid companies.
For rapid response and emergency management around the clock duty of decision-makers will be organized. Dispatching and technical services, operating staff and maintenance crews, operators on duty at substations of the branches and managers will work in an enhanced mode.
Around the clock duty during the holidays will be provided by 540 first responding mobile crews, 90 repair crews of increased mobility consisting of 530 people and 166 vehicles are available for emergency and restoration operations. If necessary, own forces can be involved to eliminate technological violations in the territory of the Company's service area - 1,647 crews of 8,378 people, 3,200 automotive and special vehicles, as well as resources of contractors.
