IDGC of Centre summed up the work on connection of customers to electric grids for 2016. During the reporting period the company performed more than 46 thousand grid connection contracts, total connected capacity under the performed contracts amounted to 1,077 MW.
It exceeded almost twice the annual plan for the receipt of funds for the provision of the grid connection service: it received 1.704 billion rubles at the plan of 0.922 billion rubles. This result was achieved thanks to the introduction by IDGC of Centre of system changes in the process of developing and issuing of offers under grid connection contracts, allowing, in particular, to choose the optimal circuit of connection of power installations of applicants and involving checking calculations of the cost of services and the correctness of execution of contract terms and conditions.
Last year IDGC of Centre connected to the mains a number of companies that are essential for socio-economic development of regions of its service area (11 subjects of the Central Federal District).
This way fulfilling its obligations under the signed in 2015 a concession agreement with the administration of the Tambov region, the company put into operation the high-tech 110/10 kV substation "Factory", constructed for power supply of a vertically integrated poultry facility, built on the site of OJSC "Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant". The first production facility, opened in the framework of the project, was the country’s largest incubator with its capacity of 105 million eggs per year. It is worth noting that the said concession agreement, providing for the creation of power grid infrastructure to the largest in the Central Federal District new businesses in growing and processing of poultry meat (besides OJSC "Tokarevskaya Poultry Plant", it is about a facility for growing and processing turkey meat of "Tambov Turkey" LLC), was the first project of public-private partnership in the national electric grid.
In addition, last year IDGC of Centre in the Tambov region completed the construction of power grid infrastructure for electricity supply to a centre for meat processing, constructed by a subsidiary of "Auchan" "Filet Property" LLC. It will receive products from farms in the region, which after processing will be sold in "Auchan" stores across the country.
In the Lipetsk region power engineers of IDGC of Centre provided power supply to a plant for deep processing of grain and oilseeds of "Black Earth" LLC in the special economic zone "Terbuny" and also connected to the grid another major production agro-industrial and food industry site – a poultry farm of the group "Cherkizovo". Successful implementation of this project is expected to help bring the region among the leaders in terms of poultry meat produced in the country. In the same region, the company connected to the grid a plant for production of premixes of "MegaMix Centre" LLC Group of Companies - one of the leading manufacturers of feed additives for all kinds of farm animals and birds in the country.
Also among the major agribusiness facilities connected by IDGC of Centre to the grid in 2016 as part of the state policy of import substitution there are new sites of the large agricultural holding "Green Dale", which specializes in the production and processing of dairy products and production sites of "PromAgro" in the Belgorod region; a greenhouse of "Agropark" and an elevator of "Russian Barley" LLC in the Kursk region.
In the past year IDGC of Centre also facilitated the implementation of a number of significant projects in the field of nuclear energy, medicine, oil refining and other industries. In particular, employees of the Kursk branch of the company performed the grid connection of the construction site of a replacement station of Kursk NPP-2 and JSC "Kursk Plant Medsteklo". And the branch "Orelenergo" made its contribution to the federal project of import substitution, which completed the grid connection of the first stage of a new production facility of the palnt "Livgidromash", one of the largest in Russia manufacturer of pumping equipment for oil refining and transportation of petroleum products.
And the work continued to supply power for large infrastructure projects of the federal and regional significance. So, the branch "Tverenergo" continued the construction of power lines for the needs of a new section of the motorway M11 Moscow - St. Petersburg, which is being laid in Bologovsky district of the Tver region. The branch "Kostromaenergo" completed in the 4th quarter the reconstruction of the 110/35/10 kV substation "SUGRES" in the city of Volgorechensk providing electricity to new sites of the constantly growing Volgorechensk Industrial Park. And in the Lipetsk region the company contributed to the project implementation, which is essential for development of the region. It is about the being built Eletsk site of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Lipetsk", where it is planned to locate enterprises of mechanical engineering, machine tool building, automotive, agricultural machinery and robotics. To ensure its power supply the energy company deployed in the village of New Olshanets in Eletsky district a mobile modular mobile substation of 110 kV 25 MVA. This temporary power supply will serve until the commissioning of a stationary substation. It is expected that on the Eletsk site of the SEZ "Lipetsk" there will be 46 resident companies that will produce goods for 140 billion rubles a year.
In carrying out its obligations in a timely manner and in full for connection to the grid of large industrial, residential and social facilities, small and medium-sized businesses, IDGC of Centre facilitates the creation in the regions of the Central Federal District of new jobs, the implementation of effective housing policies, and as a result makes an important contribution to ensure their social and economic stability.
