The Fourth hockey tournament of IDGC of Centre opened in Tver

Today the Fourth IDGC of Centre hockey tournament opened in Tver. The bright sports festival of the largest electric grid company in Central Russia gathered in the cozy ice sports complex "Jubilee" eight teams of power engineers.

Together with the teams of the Executive Office of IDGC of Centre, Tver, Belgorod, Orel, Kursk, Lipetsk and Yaroslavl branches of the company the team of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region is competing.

After a bright and colourful opening his parting words to the power engineers were said by the guest of honour of the sporting event - Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the Tver region Sergey Serov. He noted the high level of organization of the event and wished the fellows to play all the matches of the tournament without injury, with a healthy passion and will to win.

Chairman of the primary trade union organization of IDGC of Centre Victor Ablezgov reminded his colleagues that the corporate ice hockey tournament constantly expands its boundaries. If last year, along with the power engineers of IDGC of Centre the teams MOESK and the branch of PJSC "IDGC of North-West" - "Karelenergo" competed for the main cup, but this year the team of the branch of PJSC "IDGC of Centre and Volga Region" - "Kalugaenergo" went to the Tver ice. "Colleagues, I welcome all of you! Hockey is the sport that helps us feel better our partner, to play proactive, to focus in extreme situations. We are part of a large energy family and always have to be strong and united as it is today. Only such a team will always win!" stressed Viktor Ablezgov.

Opening the Fourth hockey tournament of IDGC of Centre, Acting Deputy General Director - Director of the Tver branch Vadim Yurchenko noted that it is great honour for Tverenergo to receive such a large and significant corporate event each year. "I feel the joy of looking forward to that bright ice battles that will inspire a lot of positive emotions with all of us in the days ahead. I wish the players to do their best on the ice! Give the audience all the power and entertainment, which the game for real men is capable of. I see in your eyes the desire and will to win, let the same tenacity, with which you solve production problems, help you win the main trophy of the Tournament!" Vadim Yurchenko greeted his colleagues-power engineers.

According to the established good tradition honourable guests of the tournament were veterans of the power industry - employees of "Tverenergo", who for many years were dedicated to selfless work for the benefit of the Tver power system. As part of the opening ceremony the veterans received gifts from IDGC of Centre.

Currently, on the ice sports arenas of the sports complex "Jubilee" there are play-offs going. The most exciting games are expected tomorrow when the power engineers will compete for the main prize - the Winner Cup of the Fourth Hockey Tournament of IDGC of Centre.
