In 2016 IDGC of Centre connected more than 20 apartment buildings to its grid in the Smolensk region

In 2016 employees of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division performed connection to electric grids of two dozens of apartment buildings in the city of Smolensk, in the town of Vyazma and settlements of the Smolensk region. Most of the facilities were connected under the first category of reliability.

During the year the energy company connected to the grid ten-storey apartment houses in the village of Novoseltsy, in the village of Altukhovka, in the residential neighbourhood "New Smolensk" (the township of Milovidovo), in the village of Pechersk, and the settlement of Odintsovo and completed the connection to the grid of two high-rise buildings in the village of Prigorskoye. All the settlements are located near the regional centre. The total grid connection capacity in Smolensky district amounted to more than 3 MW.

In the regional centre in 2016 Smolenskenergo supplied electricity to new buildings on Krasninskoye highway, in the micro-district of Korolevka, on the streets of Nakhimov, Kurylenko, Popov, on the 1st Krasnoflotskaya lane, Orshansky dead lane. In the town of Vyazma it completed work on the grid connection of a multi-storey house on the street of Polzunov and a residential quarter on the street of Krasnoarmeyskoye highway.

The total grid connection capacity of the housing facilities was 5.6 MW in 2016.

It also connected to power grids construction sites for two 5-storey residential buildings in the town of Gagarin and a residential building with office space and underground parking on the street of line 3 of Krasnoarmeyskaya Sloboda in Smolensk.

Providing timely connection to the grid of residential houses and small and medium-sized businesses, the branch contributes to the effective housing policy implementation in the region.
