The men’s team of the Tambov branch of IDGC of Centre successfully performed in the held in the first decade of February in Tambov chess competitions among teams of electric power companies, included in the Tambov regional branch of the Public Organization "Russian Electroprofsoyuz".
Defending the honour of the enterprise, representatives of Zherdevsky Distribution Zone of "Tambovenergo", an engineer of the diagnostics service Igor Spiridonov and an electrician Nikolay Ryabinin without losses passed the round robin tournament, where, in particular, there were representatives of such organizations as PJSC "Quadra" - "Tambov Generation" and OJSC "Tambov Energy Retail Company", and eventually won a landslide victory in the team competition. Nikolay Ryabinin was also the best in the individual competition for men on the first board. The winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
Igor Spiridonov is a repeated winner of corporate chess competitions and the sports games. Nikolay Ryabinin has made significant progress not only in the game, but also in drafting of chess problems. He is a two-time champion of Russia in this direction.
