Representatives of IDGC of Centre took part in the work of the Club of Innovators of the contest "Energoproryv"

The Fund "Skolkovo" held a meeting of the Club of Innovators of the contest "Energoproryv". It was attended by representatives of organizers and participants of the contest of previous years. IDGC of Centre was represented by Head of the Department of Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Natalia Yakshina and a leading specialist of the section of technological development and innovation Elena Malysheva.

Participants of the meeting discussed the plans for the future development of the contest, and mechanisms to support the contestants. In particular, they talked about improving the methods of promotion of winning projects of the past years.

They also discussed the issue of actual problems of the electric grid complex, which can be solved with the help of innovative technologies. Innovators agreed that the contest "Energoproryv-2017" will accept projects in two categories - improving technologies and breakthrough technologies. Also, specific areas and topics of projects were proposed for future participants of "Energoproryv".

The contest "Energoproryv" has been held since 2013 by PJSC "Rosseti" in conjunction with the Fund "Skolkovo" with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. In 2016 more than 250 innovative projects in the field of breakthrough and improvement technologies to enhance the efficiency of the electric power industry were presented at it.

In 2016 IDGC of Centre acted as a mentor of the project "Automatic feeder specific switch", which entered the top three projects. This development is designed to align the phases load of the 0.4 kV grid and is of practical interest for the electric grid complex. The project is currently being completed for a prototype.
