25 and 26 January in Krasnoyarsk, at the stadium "Dynamo" there were ski racing competitions among employees of the Group of Companies "Rosseti". The event brought together 120 best athletes from all over the Russian power industry, consisting of 13 teams. The program of events included individual race for men and women at a distance of 10 km and 5 km, respectively, and mixed relay.
IDGC of Centre in the competitions was presented by the corporate team of six people: Galina Kharitonova – an engineer of category 2 of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre of "Bryanskenergo", Natalia Nikonova - an engineer of category 1 of the capital construction office of "Belgorodenergo", Sergey Potapov – a master of an operating crew for cable lines of Smolensky Distribution Zone, Mikhail Zhurkin – the chief of a section of the substation service of Vyshnevolotsky production base of the substation service of the high-voltage grid office of "Tverenergo", Alexander Sidorenko – an operator of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre of "Smolenskenergo" and Nikita Sinitsyn - an operator of the operational and technological service of the Grid Control Centre of "Lipetskenergo".
After the first day in the individual competition at a distance of 5 km among women in the age group up to 40 years old the best was Tatiana Doroshina from PJSC "IDGC of Volga" (1st place), Svetlana Pugacheva from PJSC "IDGC of Siberia" (2nd place), Natalia Bushkova from PJSC "TRK" (3rd place).
Among women in the age group over 40 years old the best result was shown by Vera Kopnina from JSC "Tyumenenergo". The second step of the podium was occupied by Galina Kharitonova from IDGC of Centre. Third place went to Alena Domozhirova representing OJSC "IDGC of Urals".
In the individual competition at a distance of 10 km for men in the age group up to 40 years old first place was taken by Nikolay Kuleshov (PJSC "IDGC of Volga"), second place by Dmitry Kornienko (PJSC "IDGC of Volga") and Sergey Kurguzov from PJSC "Moscow United Electric Grid" closes the top three.
Among men at a distance of 10 km in the age group over 40 years old the results is as follows: Denis Nikonov from PJSC "IDGC of Volga" (1st place), Konstantin Popov from PJSC "IDGC of North-West" (2nd place) and Sergey Emelyanov from PJSC "FGC UES" (3rd place).
On the final day of the sports competitions there was the mixed relay among teams in age categories up to 40 years, 40 years and older.
In the category of up to 40 years old the team of PJSC "IDGC of Volga" won, second place went to the team from PJSC "IDGC of Siberia", IDGC of Centre’s team - consisting of Nikonov, Siderenkov and Sinitsyn, took third place.
Among the teams over 40 years old the leaders were JSC "Tyumenenergo", the team of PJSC "IDGC of Siberia" came second and bronze went to the power engineers of PJSC "MOESK".
Honoured cups and medals were awarded to the best sportsmen by Deputy Director General – Chief of Staff of PJSC "Rosseti" Nikolai Varlamov.
Top athletes will represent the company "Rosseti" at national sporting events held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation already in February this year.
