Power engineers of the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre received thanks for their help in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather in the Rostov region

To the address of IDGC of Centre – Bryanskenergo division a letter of thanks was received from Deputy Director General - Director of PJSC "IDGC of South" - "Rostovenergo" Sergey Chekmarev. The letter expressed gratitude to the management and specialists of the enterprise for their help in the aftermath of the natural disaster that struck the Rostov region in December last year.

Then, we recall, sleet and rain, as well as strong, gusting up to 32 m/s wind caused disruption of the normal mode of operation of electric grid facilities of the region. To help the Rostov power engineers crews from other subsidiaries and affiliates of PJSC "Rosseti" were sent, including - three mobile crews of Bryansky, Dyatkovsky and Zhiryatinsky Distribution Zones of Bryanskenergo, under the leadership of the chief engineer of Zhiryatinsky Distribution Zone Sergey Shipilov. They included professionals with considerable experience in eliminating consequences of bad weather.

The Bryansk power engineers restored electricity supply in the territory within the service area of Neklinovsky Distribution Zone of Rostovenergo. They were engaged in the elimination of breakages, rewiring and pruning trees, eventually making a meaningful contribution to the elimination of technological violations in that part of the Rostov region.

"All participants of the restoration work made invaluable assistance working round the clock shoulder to shoulder in difficult weather conditions, up to the complete elimination of all violations and the resupply of light and heat in the homes of tens of thousands of residents of the Rostov region. The power engineers once again demonstrated the long-term loyalty to the traditions of mutual support and professional fraternity," said in his message the head of Rostovenergo.
