Power engineers and rescuers thanked each other for cooperation in 2016

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division and employees of General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tver region shared their gratitude for active and effective cooperation based on the work in 2016.

The list of recipients of awards among power engineers and rescuers included not only representatives of the management team, but also ordinary staff. In particular, courageous professionals, who made a significant contribution to the elimination of consequences of freezing rain that hit the Tver region in November last year.

"Providing reliable and uninterrupted power supply is a task that requires not only great professionalism, dedication of the power engineers, but also support from the agencies responsible for the security of the region," stressed Vadim Yurchenko, Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Tverenergo division director. "Management of General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tver region and its staff showed that they are reliable allies in the struggle against bad weather, disrupting operation of electric grid facilities. I thank the colleagues for their self-discipline, efficiency and courage, and I hope that in the new year of 2017 we will also co-operate effectively for the benefit of inhabitants of the Tver region."
