12 January, Voronezh Region Governor Alexey Gordeyev held a meeting with General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh region Vitaly Shabalatov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division director Ivan Kleimenov, Advisor to General Director of IDGC of Centre Artem Kuranov.
Alexey Gordeyev and Oleg Isaev discussed prospects of development of electric grid facilities of the region and operation though the current autumn-winter period.
In particular, it was noted that in 2016 specialists of the Voronezh branch of IDGC of Centre reconstructed more than 200 km of power lines of different voltage classes, 15 substations of 110 kV and constructed more than 80 transformer substations of 6-10 kV with total capacity of more than 14 MVA. More than 1.1 bln rubles were spent to implement these projects. In 2017 IDGC of Centre is planning to invest in the development of electric grid infrastructure of the Voronezh area about 1.3 bln rubles. So, this year the energy company will start constructing the 110/10/6 kV substation "Sputnik", with the commissioning of which reliability of power supply for socially significant facilities and construction of residential complexes of the Northern district of Voronezh will be significantly improved.
The meeting also touched upon the issues related to the operation through the current autumn-winter period, which in some regions of Central Russia is characterized by abnormal weather phenomena. Oleg Isaev informed Alexey Gordeyev on ongoing measures taken by the power engineers to prevent technological breakdowns in the regional electric grid complex and forces and means involved for this: mobile crews that are on duty around the clock, ready to promptly eliminate problems in the grid infrastructure, special vehicles, backup power supply sources, also being at full readiness.
Alexey Gordeyev expressed confidence that the stable operation of the region’s energy sector will contribute to the growth of its investment attractiveness and create conditions for implementation of important projects for the Voronezh region.
Oleg Isaev also informed Alexey Gordeyev about transfer of Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division director Ivan Kleimenov to work in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Ivan Kleimenov will head one of the largest branches of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, PJSC. Oleg Isaev described Ivan Kleimenov as one of the best top-managers of the company.
Oleg Isaev also agreed with Alexey Gordeyev to nominate a new director of the branch of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo. It will be Vyacheslav Antonov, formerly First Deputy Director-Chief Engineer of the branch. Alexey Gordeyev supported this decision.
At the end of the meeting Governor presented Ivan Kleimenov with a regional award badge "For Services to the Voronezh Region" for many years of conscientious work and great personal contribution to the development of the energy system of the region.
