IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division has started work on connection to electric grids of a large regional agriculture facility – a grain warehouse of "Orel-Agro-Product" LLC in Kromsky district. The facility connected capacity will be 2.12 MW. The power company harmonized technical documentation of the project and started constructing electric grids for connection of power installations of the customer.
"Orel-Agro-Product" LLC is a large agro-industrial enterprise engaged in crop production and dairy farming. The new warehouse with a capacity of 100 thous. tons and a capacity for acceptance of grain 450 tons per hour, and for shipment - 300 tons per hour, will be used for extra processing, storage and transshipment of grains and oilseeds in the framework of the federal program to promote import substitution.
"This is one of the largest and most important projects of the branch the year that is now ending. Commissioning of the facility is strategically important for the region, because it means creation of new jobs and increased tax payments to budgets of all levels. Being aware of its importance, we are making every effort to complete all the work as soon as possible," stresses Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division director Yury Volchenckov.
Please, be reminded that in 2016 to support the regional agriculture development the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre already supplied power to such important agribusiness entities of the region as "Cherkizovo-Crop" LLC and "Znamensky SGC" LLC. 1 MW was provided to Agribusiness Holding Company "Cherkizovo-Crop" LLC, one of the largest Russian manufacturers of pig genetics, and "Znamensky SGC" LLC - 700 kW.
