IDGC of Centre promotes the development of agro-industrial facilities of the Smolensk region

IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division in support of the development of agro-industrial facilities in the territory of the Smolensk region is implementing priority projects of grid connection and providing additional capacity to facilities and enterprises of the agro-industrial complex.

In 2016 it completed grid connection of 19 agricultural facilities in 12 districts of the region. Among them there are greenhouses, processing facilities and warehouses of agricultural produce, farms, farms with grazing cattle of LLC "Bryansk Meat Company" (included in the Agricultural Holding "Miratorg"), a granary of CJSC "Troparevo", a pig farm of LLC "Bacon", a farm for small livestock, a drying and sorting centre, a slaughterhouse, a dairy of the Agro-industrial firm "Our granary". Among them the largest facilities are – the granary of CJSC "Troparevo" in Pochinoksky district with maximum power of 640 kW and a dairy of the Agro-industrial firm "Our granary" in Gagarinsky district with maximum power of 479.2 kW. All in all for 2016 the branch provided agricultural facilities with connected capacity totalling about 2.3 MW.

"In the framework of the state program to support the domestic agricultural sector in 2013-2020, we give priority to the connection of agricultural enterprises," stressed the head of the grid connection office of Smolenskenergo Sergey Lapin. "The branch strives to facilitate as maximum as possible the grid connection of significant facilities for the region in the field of agriculture and to reduce the time of their connection.

IDGC of Centre will continue working to implement a number of projects on grid connection of agro-industrial facilities in districts of the Smolensk region in 2017.
